Our story
Tooly is a two-person team — Lev and Nikolai. We are on a mission to redefine how tool rentals work and create the first tool sharing service in Finland, though we always make sure to find time for snowboarding or wakeboarding around Helsinki. We began development in late 2025 and are set to launch our MVP in March 2026. While we are new to business ownership, we believe the journey is just as important as the destination. Our goal is to bring more positivity to the community by making it affordable to access the tools you need for your evening side projects. In today’s economy, having the right tools to build something yourself is essential—whether that’s a physical screwdriver or an AI tool like ChatGPT. We’ve used both to build Tooly from scratch. Our goal is to give everyone the chance to express themselves with minimal expense. We are proud to build Tooly: Helsinki’s own tool-sharing community.
HOW IT WORKS?

-Find the tools you need for your new project -Choose time slots and add the tool to the basket -Proceed to registration with strong banking authentication if you are not registered yet -Pay for your order
PICK UP
-Come to the chosen location at the chosen time -Enter PIN code on the screen -Pick up the tool -Close the cell door
BUILD YOUR DREAM
-Come home or in your yard and start creating!
RETURN ITEM TO THE LOCKER
-Return the tool to the chosen location no later than by the end of your booking time so the next tool sharing friend could build his dreams!
