Rent or buy? A cordless jigsaw is about 50 € new as a bare tool, and a battery and charger add roughly 50 € on top, so a comparable setup runs to around 100 €. A full day here is 11,99 €. That is a closer call than most tools on this site: if you cut wood regularly, buy one. But the jigsaw is the classic single-project purchase — it comes out for the flooring, then sits in a cupboard for four years while the battery quietly dies. Pick-up and opening hours: The Tooly locker is on floor −1 of the Iso Omena shopping centre, Piispansilta 11, Espoo, near the Musti ja Mirri entrance. It is open every day from 6 am to midnight, so you can collect before work or after the shops close. Matinkylä metro station is in the same building, which puts the locker within easy reach from Helsinki and Vantaa without a car.
